Golden Hour at Drumee

How lucky are we to have one set of grandparents who live at the bottom of the Mourne mountains? Anytime we visit Drumee the camera is always in the boot of the car. I took these photographs in September (hence the apples) and the reason for sharing is due to all this gloomy weather recently. I feel like it’s been the longest winter ever, I haven’t even started to diet yet for my summer clothes. Anyways enough about my muffin top, If we have ever chatted I will always encourage my family sessions or couples to aim for this perfect time of day which is called “Golden Hour” …the name speaks for its self! Golden Hour is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. So when I suggest meeting at crazy o’clock in the morning or keeping the kids up just that bit later it’s so that you can get images like this too!
